2.1 Information Processed On Your Device

  • App preferences and audio settings: Data such as volume levels, routing choices, device priorities, and other settings you configure are stored locally on your Mac to operate the app. We do not upload this data to our own servers.
  • System audio access: The app may use macOS permissions and capabilities needed to provide features such as per-app volume and audio routing. This processing is intended to run the app on your device, not for us to collect or store recordings of your audio on our servers.

2.2 Information You Provide

  • Support communications: If you email us for help, we receive the information you include in your message (such as your email address and the content of your request).

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Subscription data: If you subscribe to Sound Manager Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple and subscription status is managed through RevenueCat. We receive information needed to verify your subscription (for example, whether your entitlement is active). We do not receive your full payment card details.

2.4 Information from Third Parties

  • Apple: Apple may process purchase and account-related information according to Apple’s policies when you use the App Store or StoreKit.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the app
  • Validate subscription status and restore purchases
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.


4. How We Share Your Information

  • Local storage: Preferences and settings needed for the app generally remain on your device unless a feature explicitly states otherwise.
  • Network: When the app contacts RevenueCat or Apple, data is sent over encrypted connections in line with industry practice.
  • Security: We rely on Apple’s platform protections and reasonable safeguards. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing, or to object or port data. For subscription-related information, you can also use your Apple ID and App Store subscription tools.

7. Children’s Privacy

Sound Manager is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
